Welcome to the memorial page for

Katey Lynn Pasqualini

January 8, 1990 ~ November 2, 2016 (age 26) 26 Years Old

Katey Lynn Pasqualini, 26, of Milwaukee, died on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 when she was involved in a tragic automobile accident. Katey was born on January 8, 1990 in Hollywood, Florida to Melodee and Mark Pasqualini. Katey and her family also lived in Connecticut and Wisconsin when she was young but always found their way home to Hollywood. Katey graduated from Badger High School in 2008 and received her masters in finance and accounting in 2013 from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. While she was in college, Katey interned at RitzHolman CPAs of Milwaukee. After graduation she was given a full time position at the firm and was recently promoted to Senior Staff Accountant. Katey was in the process of completing her CPA certification. Katey was hardworking, driven, and independent but always so warm and kind. Everyone who knew Katey says she lit up every room she walked in, she was truly a ray of sunshine. She loved penguins, anything bright orange, and Taylor Swift. Katey’s mother and family were always hoping that she would move back to Florida, but she was so happy with her job, her friends, and her wonderful boyfriend, Clenton, who was also killed in the accident. Katey brought Clenton to meet her family in Florida this past July and they absolutely loved him. Katey was so generous and loving; her beautiful presence will be so deeply missed.

Katey is survived by her loving mother, Melodee Pasqualini; twin sister, Kasey Pasqualini; older sister, Amanda Pasqualini; grandmother, Joanne Brown; Uncle Rick Brown; cousins Rickee Brown, Zackary Brown, and Christopher Brown; Aunt Carol Pasqualini, Uncle Steven and Aunt Jenn Pasqualini and their daughter, Stephanie; and the rest of the Pasqualini family (apologies for not listing everyone, as there are many beloved family members on her father’s side). The Hollands, long time friends of Melodee, brought Katey into their family - Dustin Holland was the first person Katey became friends with when she moved to Wisconsin and that friendship grew into many years of love, Tammy Holland was like a second mother to her, and Shirley Holland, a second grandmother. She is preceded in death by her father, Mark Pasqualini, her Pop pop Blasco Pasqualini, her grandfather, Earl Brown, and her Aunt Ann Maglaris.

A memorial service will be held at Derrick Funeral Home on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 7:00 PM, with visitation from 5:00-7:00 PM. As we are celebrating her life, Katey’s mother asks that you refrain from wearing all black and dress colorfully. To sign the on-line guest registry click guest book/condolences
