I learned of Bertil's passing only today. I will always remember him as such a kind person. He was always so very insightful; I remember during one of our many conversations back when we were both active in Lake Geneva Rotary together, him saying, "living today is an art." I never forgot those words of wisdom. He will be remembered as a man of warmth, kindness, and determination. May God continue to Bless Bertil and his family forever.

Please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of Bertil. Simply put, he was an extraordinary man. I am so privileged to have worked with him over the years. Together we overcame many challenges due to his ingenuity and strong customer focus. He always treated me as a partner but at the same time as a friend. His style is something that I've tried to emulate in my own career. But life is more that just work and I also admire him because he knew the importance of that balance. I fondly remember the many times we took time out to dine and laugh together. He will always be Mr. B to me.

May you find solace in the sharing of these many wonderful memories that celebrate a life well lived. May God bless all of you.

Your friend,

Mark

Dearest Ulla, Ann, Lars, and the entire Brunk family:
Words cannot express our deepest condolences on the passing of your husband, father, grandfather and all that he meant not only to all of you, but to the greater communities in which he worked, served, and to which he committed himself day in and day out. By all accounts, his was truly a life well-lived in every sense: hard-working, indefatigable, dedicated to family and friends, joyful in celebrating, generous in giving and sharing. We wish you God's peace and the comfort of knowing that Bertil was an uncommon man, truly a model of possibility. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all,
Janis and John
