Alexandru Burce, a man remembered for his exceptional love, generosity, and dedication, passed away peacefully at his residence on April 11, 2026, just four days shy of his 85th birthday. Born on April 15, 1941, in Romania, Alexandru lived a life marked by kindness and unwavering commitment to his family and work.

Alexandru was an extraordinary individual who gave selflessly, never seeking anything in return. Those fortunate to know him witnessed a man who devoted himself wholeheartedly to the happiness and well-being of his wife and children. He found joy not only in his familial roles but also in his career, holding a deep affection for the work he pursued throughout his life.

His passion extended beyond his professional life into his personal interests. Alexandru loved to garden, finding peace and satisfaction in nurturing plants and cultivating the beauty around him. He also enjoyed home improvements, demonstrating a hands-on approach to creating a warm and welcoming environment.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rodica; his parents, Nita and Gherghina; and his brother, Stefan. Their memories are cherished and held close by those who knew Alexandru.

He is survived by his devoted son, Brogan, and his loving daughter, Alina, who carry forward his legacy of love and integrity.

- Visitation will be held on April 16, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Derrick Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at P. O. Box 730 - 800 Park Dr, Lake Geneva, WI 53147.

- A Mass in celebration of Alexandru’s life will take place on April 17, 2026, beginning at 10:30 AM at St Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 148 W Main St, Lake Geneva, WI 53147.

- Following the Mass, a Graveside Service will be held at Saint Francis de Sales Cemetery, 6495 WI-50, Lake Geneva, WI 53147, starting at 11:30 AM on the same day.

Alexandru Burce’s life was defined by his boundless love, humility, and dedication—qualities that will continue to inspire those who carry his memory forward. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
