Rodica (Chioseaua) Burce

Rodica Burce, 72, of Lake Geneva, died Tuesday July 12, 2016 at her home. The former Rodica Chioseaua was born in Vedea, Romania on May 22, 1944 the daughter of the late Ion and Maria Chioseaua. On May 22, 1972, in Giurgiu, Romania, she was united in marriage to Alexandru Burce. She and Alex came to the United States in 1990. She had worked as a cook at Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva for many years.
Rodica is survived by: Alex, her husband of 44 years, 2 children; Bogdan and Alina both of Lake Geneva, 3 sisters; Silvia Vasiliu of Los Angeles, CA, Lucia Nicara and Sanda Chioseaua both of Giurgiu, Romania. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be said Tuesday July 19, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Francis deSales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva.
