John was one of my first friends, (in fact the first friend I ever got in trouble with in nursery / pre school). I have great memories playing at his home as kids and running / chasing his younger brothers around his house. As we got older... teens and twenties, I would occasionally bump into him in random places and he always had a big smile on his face and was quick to say or do something that would make me laugh. I had always hoped, with life getting busier as people grow older and have families and work, that I might bump into him again some day.
I can almost imagine how his household must have been with 3 boys, if they're like John it must have been a literal fun house and his wife must have had patience of steel. I know his energy and light will certainly be missed but his memory will never be forgotten.
