My deepest sympathy to the entire Roenspies family. What a wonderful pastor, friend and man he was. I have many great memories of both Mr. Roenspies and Tommy. I believe that we will ALL be reunited one day in a far better, peaceful, wonderful world. That is the hope that lies within me.

Dear Artis and family - Just read about Dave's passing on the AC reunion website - sending prayers and love to the Roenspies family at this time - both a time of sadness for the place he will leave in everyone's heart but also time of celebration - knowing that he has run his race and has his reward and we will see him again one day - stay well, with love, Charlotte

Dear Artis and family,

My fond memories of Dave and his family go back to our days together in Chicago where I served in the ministry from 1968-1973. Those were some of my most memorable days--sharing experiences and stories with the family-- especially Dave's dad. It was in Chicago where my friendship with Dave began. And, it continued for all these years. Artis, I know you will deeply miss Dave, even as I will. Hopefully, it won't be long before we will all be back together in a much better world--and, we will have lots of catching up to do. Be assured we will be praying for your comfort and healing.

I am so thankful for having the great blessing of meeting Mr. Roenspies at the Kauai Feast of Tabernacles in 2014. During just that short period of time his character, experience in the Church, and warmth had a deep impact on me --- and I'm sure many others. After he gave a sermon there, I thanked him very much.

Your family, all the brethren, and friends who loved him are in my prayers, that you all may be comforted. With love. Lud Kiramidjian

I am so very sorry for your loss. I feel as though I have known Dave all of my life. He and his family many years ago came down from Milwaukee to attend holyday services here in Chicago. A nice memory of him. He will be greatly missed.

I only heard this evening of your husband's passing. Remembering back to his being the trainee in the Omaha church back in the 60's. It was good to see you both at the Dells afew years back.

It is to his honor and credit that he remained in the truth and that he continued to teach it to others. So few hold to the way of God that we learned at Ambassador College.

Warm Regards,

Sue Ann

Artis,
I am so sorry! I recall first meeting you on the Amtrak train from Chicago to Pasadena on our way to AC in 1962, and we remained friends in college. You are in our prayers.

Dear Artis--How saddened I was to hear of David's death. I met the two of you last year in Kauai. David's sermon was the most inspiring for me of the whole Feast. I just read over my notes from it and at the end in BIG letters underlined in red I wrote, "WOW, what a message!!" Looking forward to hearing more from him in God's Kingdom.

Dear Mrs. Roenspies and families,
When I saw the smile of your loved one my memories flashed back when I was a child. I believe my own Mother Mrs. Joyce L. Hitch knew David from her years in Pasadena. My sincere condolences to you from a fellow Widow. God will wipe our tears and carry us forward to the Kingdom. The poem called "Remembrance" by Author Unknown has very kind words to use daily.
With God's love and mercy, to the Kingdom,
Always a Sister in Christ,

Thanks for sharing Mr. Roenspies with us in this manner. He has given my family lots of memories. May the LORD give you peace and love. Love the piano arrangement. I wonder who it is and what the name of the piece is. It seems sad and yet there is hope for the final destination.

Dave has been an exceptional inspiration to me. His love for the truth and his sermons have always been so well researched and inspired by God that I just knew that he was close to God. Always gave me things to think about and study. May he rest in peace until God the Creator calls him for his next task. I are very sorry for your loss but I look forward to continuing to learn from Dave in God's kingdom. I will miss him in this world, I will so much look forward to seeing him in the next one.

Dear Artis,
As painful as losing someone we love is, God designed us with the capacity to store and recall all of the wonderful and special memories that were created with that person. I think that He intended that so we could focus on those years of uniquel memories to remind us of the joy and happiness of what we had rather than to dwell on what we lost.

Those special memories will last for eternity while our loss is but for a short time until the restoration of all things. We love you and are here for you.

May God comfort all of the remaining family for the loss of such a wonderful man. We first met Mr. Roenspies in Alaska over 30 years ago. It was a delight to see him at the Dells during Feast time. I wish I could do a barrel roll or two in honor of him. We will miss him.

Your family has always been very special to us, and we shared many wonderful times together -- from college days to early days in ministry to festivals, special church events, and family celebrations. Dear Artis & family,

I extend my sincere sympathy and prayers for God's comforting presence for you at this time of painful loss for you. Dave was taken away way too soon. I value my friendship and conversations I had with him and also with his parents from years ago. I hope all goes well at the memorial service and that it will be a fitting tribute to him.
