William “Bill” Trester, 81, of the Lake Geneva area passed away at his home on July 23, 2021.
Bill was born on October 30th, 1939, to the late Glen and Ann (Altabello) Trester on October 30th, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois. Bill graduate from St. Phillips High School in Chicago. After High School Bill became a Pipe Fitter with Local 597 in Chicago and was a proud member.
Bill was part of the coffee clutch at the Lake Geneva McDonalds. You could find him there in the mornings with the rest of the group. Bill was a fantastic marksman and had a passion for range shooting. Bill loved his cars, his Harley, and his boats and worked at the Lake Geneva Boat launch and the Williams Bay Boat launch.
Bill is survived by Lynda Trester, his three sons: Mark Trester, Mike (Dana) Trester, and Joseph (Kristine) Trester. Four grandchildren: Harper, Hayden, Olivia, and Jack; a brother John Trester all survive Bill.
There are no services planned for Bill at this time.
