William Joseph Brasfield

William J. Brasfield, 69, of the Whitewater, Wisconsin area passed away on August 17th, 2023, in Janesville, Wisconsin.

William was born on November 22, 1953, to the late Roy and Elanor (Triner) Brasfield in Aurora, Illinois. William graduated from Dundee Crown High School in 1972.

William was an outdoors man by heart.  He loved to go fishing and hunting whenever he could.  William was always a fantastic woodwork.  If there was something that needed to be built, he could visualize it and build it without any plans.  In his downtime he loved to play on his tablet, was a master at Hillclimb Challenge, and when he was able, he loved to hit the open road on his Harley.

William is survived by his daughter Randi (Joseph) Gonsior and his two grandchildren Gabriel Brasfield and Elijah Gonsior.  William is also survived by one brother, Ray (Joyce) Brasfield, two sisters: Susie (Charlie) Healy and Geri Brasfield: and one brother-in-law Ruben Camarena.  William was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Elanor and three siblings: Roy, Mary Ann and Kathy.

Services for William will be held on Sunday September 10th, 2023, at 4:00pm in the main chapel of Derrick Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 till the time of service on September 10th.
