Terrance "Terry" R Welsh

On Wednesday, November 10th, 2021, Terrance “Terry” R. Welsh of Williams Bay, WI, age 71, passed from this life to his eternal home to be in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

Terry was born to Robert and Loretta (Singer) Welsh in Chicago, IL on March 22, 1950. 

On March 21, 1970 Terry married his high school sweetheart, Nancy O’Brien in Chicago, IL. Terry & Nancy moved to Williams Bay, in 1975. They were blessed with two children, Wendy Lynn, and Terrance “T” Robert Jr. 

After high school Terry became an electrical apprentice and worked as a master electrician for many years before transitioning to custom home building. Terry also worked as a building inspector. When his son T was finished with college, Terry was proud to work in the custom home trades with his son. 

Terry was an anchor, one anyone could rely on. He loved to serve and help people.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He always had a love for fishing and passed that love down to his children and grandchildren. His fishing trips to Canada and Minnesota with family was something he always looked forward to. Terry loved to fix and build things, play cards and games with his grandchildren, order out chinese food and sandwiches to share with his family, and teach his grandchildren skills in building and fishing. Terry loved going out for breakfast and walks by the lake.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Loretta (Singer) Welsh and his brother Daniel. 

Terry is survived by his wife Nancy (O’Brien), his daughter Wendy (Joel) Fell of Delavan, WI, his son T (Maxine) Welsh of Williams Bay, WI, his grandchildren David (Susan) Fell, Daniel (Andrea) Fell, Benjamin Fell, Elizabeth Fell, Jonathan Fell, Evan Welsh, Rebekah Fell, Ethan Welsh, Makayla Fell, Elias Welsh, Victoria Fell, his great grandchildren Adah Fell, Ruth Fell and Josiah Fell (due in January), his brother John (Donna) Welsh, nephews Jimmy & Zachary Welsh of Oak Lawn, IL, niece Melissa (Zachary) Stelmack of Plainfield, IL, and many many friends.

To honor Terry’s wishes, formalities will be set aside. All are welcome to join the family for a very casual Celebration of Life to remember the life of Terry Welsh on Saturday, November 27th at 2:00pm at Faith Christian School (W5525 State Hwy 67 Williams Bay, WI 53191).  Pie and ice cream will be served.  No ties or suits allowed!
