Susan “Susie” M. Hatch, 85, of Williams Bay, Wisconsin died on December 25, 2020 at Journey Care Center in Barrington, Illinois.
Susie was born on August 13, 1935 in Oak Park, IL the fourth daughter of William & Myfanwy (Jones) Watts. She graduated from Lake Geneva High School in 1954. She married Seymour Allen Hatch of Lake Geneva, WI in 1955. Susie was a longtime resident of William Bay, Wisconsin.
Susie is survived by her 3 children, Peter (Kathleen), Bonnie (Erik) Fisher, and Cindy (Robert) Wegener; seven grandchildren: Kelly, Melly, Jason, Tripper, Heather, Phil and Maria. Seven great-grandchildren: Odette, Grayson, Skye, Mackenzie, Jason, Sterling, and Isabel. Her sisters: Phyllis Gordon, Lois (Bill) Mellen, sister-in-law Carol (John) Frandolig. Susie was proceeded in death by her husband, Seymour, her parents and a sister, Joyce Buehrens.
In her retirement Susie was a long-time member of the UCC church in William Bay, volunteered at the library, and delivered Meals on Wheels. She was active in the community, enjoyed gardening and canoeing, swimming and walking on ¨her lake”, Susie was a child of God and loved His creation. She enjoyed traveling and being involved in the lives of her grandchildren.
Private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lakeland Animal Shelter or Meals on Wheels.
