Saundra C. (Jontz) Elliott

Saundra C. Elliott, 76, of Lake Geneva, WI, died of cancer on Friday January 15, 2021 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI. The former Saundra C. Jontz was born in Marshalltown, IA on October 18, 1944 the daughter of the late Charles and Lois (Bach) Jontz.  On June 14, 1969 in Newton, IA she was united in marriage to her best friend and life partner James (Jim) Elliott.  

She was accomplished in business and banking and had worked for many years as the manager of Walworth State Bank.  Saundra was a strong and loyal woman. She was never afraid to give her opinion on any subject.  She loved animals of every kind.  Her greatest love was for her grandchildren that she spoiled at every chance she had.  

Saundra is being missed by: Jim her husband of 51 years, 2 daughters; Kellie (Jeff Kapparos) Elliott-Kapparos of Marion, IA and Monica Elliott of Chicago, IL, by 2 grandchildren Chloe and Aidan Kapparos, by 2 brothers; Charles (Janine) Jontz of Des Moines, IA and Glen (Bonnie) Jontz of Baxter, IA and a sister Glenna Jontz of Newton, IA.  The Elliott family appreciates all the support from other family and many friends.

Services for Saundra will scheduled at a later date. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Saundra’s name to the Lakeland Animal Shelter.  A link has been provided below.
