Priscilla Jane (Sanders) Schulz

Priscilla (Polly) J. Schulz, 91, of Lake Geneva passed away to eternal life on Friday January 15th, 2021 at the Delavan Health Services Center in Delavan, WI. 

Born Priscilla Jane Sanders on December 6th, 1929 to the late Roy and Cora (Minshall) Sanders of Elkhorn, WI. Priscilla was a member of the graduating class of 1947 from Elkhorn High School.  Upon graduation she worked as a legal secretary for Godfrey Law Services of Elkhorn, WI.  On August 19th, 1950 Priscilla was united into marriage to Clifford L. Schulz. They were married 67 years until Clifford’s death in 2017.

Polly was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lake Geneva, WI. In her earlier years she served on the alter guild and as a choir member. She was an amazing artist and loved painting especially nature, rural landscapes and Rosemauling.  When her children were young, Polly taught 4-H and volunteered at Springfield School.  She also taught antique classes at the local junior college, judged at the Walworth County Fair and was an avid collector. 

Polly is survived by 3 children: Clifford (Karen Kelly) Schulz of Elgin, Illinois: Teresa (James) Crolius of La Crosse, Wisconsin: and Stuart (Kathleen) Schulz of Minnetonka, Minnesota.  10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 brother: David (Miriam) Sanders of Scottsdale, Arizona and former daughter-in-law: Lisa (Matt) Cohen of New Berlin, Wisconsin. Polly is preceded in death by her parents, husband Clifford, son David Schulz, siblings Virginia Stewart sister, Carl Sanders brother and Patricia Jones twin sister.

Private family services will be held at a later date.  

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked that you make a donation in Polly’s name to either: Walworth County Fair, or Walworth County Aging and Disability Resource Center.  Information on where to send your donation to is listed below.
