Penny Elizabeth Marshall, 71, of Pell Lake, found eternal peace on October 19, 2020.
On January 30, 1949, Penny was born to William and Erma Everitt in Van Nuys, California. Penny grew up in California and Illinois, eventually moving to Wisconsin in her retirement. On May 23, 1973, she was united in marriage to Herman Marshall in San Bernardino, California.
Penny held a position as a Pharmacy Technician for several years and later decided to change her career. She chose to work in the Veterinarian field where her passion in life was working with animals. In addition to loving animals, her love and most memorable moments came from being a Grams, a Mother, and a pet owner. Penny also had many accomplished talents that she was far too humble about. She competed with Annette Funicello for the role in The Mickey Mouse Club, and was crowned Miss North Lake, Illinois in 1966. Penny also crocheted flawlessly, was an amazing cook and baker, and a selfless Greyhound dog rescue Mom, to name a few. Penny was a strong, intelligent, and generous woman who loved her family and was always willing to offer her advice and wisdom. With her strong-will and tenacious spirit, Penny fought her illness to the very end, like a true warrioress.
Penny is survived by her loving husband Herman, of 47 years; three children, Gary (Kelly) Case, Tanya (Carlos) Dominguez and John (Lesha) Marshall; her five grandchildren, Jaxson and Myka Case, Erika Dominguez, Ashly and Morghan Marshall; her caring sibling, Cherie Everitt Monroe; a sister-in-law, nieces and nephews and her devoted, furry best friend, Jack. Penny was preceded in death by her parents, William and Erma Everitt, her brother Skip Everitt, her first husband, Gary Case Sr., and her many beloved pets.
A private memorial will be held with the immediate family.
