Nicholas J. Caselli, 73, of Williams Bay, WI, died Monday July 20, 2020 at Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI. Nicholas John Caselli was born in Chicago, IL on January 29, 1947 the son of the late Eugene and Philamina (Figuolo) Caselli. As a youth he was a member of St. Francis of Rome Catholic Church in Cicero, IL and served as an altar boy and sang in the choir. As a Boy Scout he earned his Eagle Scout, the highest award in Scouting. On July 13, 1968 in Cicero, IL he was united in marriage to the former JoAnn Perpignani. He was a very successful business owner as a designer of fine jewelry; he retired at a young age. He lived and loved life and loved serving people. He was an active member of the Williams Bay Lions Club, he drove his stock car in their annual stock car race at the Lake Geneva Raceway. He drove for the Lions Eye Bank for many years and for Meals on Wheels. He was a recipient of the Melvin Jones Award the highest honor given to a member of the Lions Club. He loved to spend time boating on Geneva lake. He also volunteered at Yerkes Observatory in Williams Bay for many years. He was an active member the Williams Bay Corvette Club. He was on the board for the Blackhawk Chapter of A.C.B.S.
Nick is survived by: his wife JoAnn, the love of his life for over 52 years, a sister Julie Caselli of Berwyn, IL, many loving nieces, nephews and cousins, and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Tony.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday July 31, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Benedict Catholic Church in Fontana. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a maximum 0f 120 people will be allowed in church and masks are required. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the main chapel of the Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva. The family has requested masks be worn and social distance be observed.
