Marty was a supportive graduate of Leo High School and a proud 61 year member of IBEW local #134 Chicago / registered electrical contractor, city of Chicago.
Marty loved to “invent”, his brilliant mind and body constantly in motion. His gift for storytelling was one of the hallmarks of his Irish heritage. He loved that a good joke or even a bad one, no matter how often shared, would bring a smile. He cherished friends and would do anything for you. A true giver.
As a young boy, Marty relished summers on the Dolan homestead farms, in Rising Sun Wisconsin, working closely and tirelessly with his mentor, his beloved Uncle Frank Dolan. Marty credits the “farm” for his impeccable work ethic, and the shaping the wonderful man that he became.
Upon retiring in 2002, Marty and his wife moved to Lake Geneva Wisconsin and began Aspen Glo Farms, a premier equestrian facility. Most recently, adding to the Aspen Glo Farms legacy, is beautiful acreage known as Aspen Glo Preserve, dedicated to the preservation of nature, to life, to love and to the family.
Marty, a gentleman and accomplished athlete and youth coach, loved to play the game of BB. He tried to enjoy the challenges of golf. Marty would energetically pace the floors on game day for N.D., the Bears, the Bulls, the Sox and the Hawks. He claimed there just weren’t enough TVs!
Marty’s faith was unwavering, his love for family and country, steadfast; a flag flying true American
