Martha Ida (Lehmbeck) Krecker

Martha Ida Krecker, age 95, of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on June 27th, 2023. 

Martha was born on June 28th, 1927 in Carpentersville, IL to her loving parents; the late Wilhem H. Lehmbeck and Martha Moldenhauer. She spent her childhood growing up in Des Plaines, IL with her five siblings and later graduated from Maine East High School in Park Ridge, IL.

Martha and Harvey Herman Krecker married in 1947 and soon after shared three children together; Judy, Sharon, and Glen. 

Martha enjoyed being a house-wife and a mother to her beloved children and found much joy in gardening, knitting, baking, and cooking for her family and friends. Her greatest calling in life was being a wife and mother. She loved to shower her family with love and many kisses!

Martha is survived by her daughter; Sharon (Roger) Pump, her son; Glen (Carol) Krecker, her sister; Anita, her nieces and nephews, her four grandchildren; Sarah (Joe) Marinello, Julie (Rich) Braunsdorf, Christopher (Melissa) Krecker, Michelle (Dan) Craig, and five great grandchildren; Lucas Krecker, Gavin Krecker, Elena Krecker, Sedona Craig, and Viviana Marinello.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Wilhelm and Martha Lehmbeck, her sisters; Lisa, Ruth, and Elanore, her brother; William, her husband; Harvey Herman Krecker, and their daughter, Judy Krecker.

A graveside service will be held on July 14th, 2023 at 1:00pm at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, Illinois.
