Marion Purdum

Marion Purdum, 76, of Lyons, WI joined Our Lord in Heaven on Saturday, March 23, 2024.  Marion was born on October 17, 1946, the daughter of the late Paul and Catherine (Hertel) Leffelman. Marion married Robert Purdum on June 19, 1971 in Lyons,WI, and resided in that quaint village until her death. Marion worked for over 20 years in the Burlington School district in the cafeteria services. As a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish in Lyons, she volunteered in the church’s activities.  Marion enjoyed baking, sewing, and crocheting.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Dolores Smudde, and Sister-in-law Beth Leffelman.  Marion is survived by her husband Robert Purdum, her brother-in-law Gerald Smudde and siblings: James (Jill) Leffelman, Joseph (Beth) Leffelman, Frank (Julee) Leffelman, Paul (Barb) Leffelman, Dennis (Susan) Leffelman, Catherine (Mark) Sager, Raymond (Debby) Leffelman, Stephen Leffelman, numerous nieces, nephews, and many other dear friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday April 5, 2024 at 11:00AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish 1540 Mill St, Lyons, WI.  Visitation will take place before Mass at the Derrick Funeral Home, 800 Park Dr, Lake Geneva, WI from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
