Lee Ann (Michaels) Cordes

Lee Ann Cordes, 84, of Lake Geneva, WI, died Tuesday January 1, 2019 at Golden Years of Lake Geneva.  The former Lee Ann Michaels was born in Chicago, IL on March 9, 1934. On December 26, 1952 she was united in marriage to Frank H. Cordes.  She had spent many years as a real estate broke in the Chicago area.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.  She also enjoyed spending time with her sisters going to the casino.

Lee is survived by: Frank, her husband of 66 years, 4 children; Gaele Cordes, Robert (Kristyne) Cordes, Christopher (Julie) Cordes and Kelly (Howard) Schneider, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by: a son Frank Cordes Jr., 2 sisters; Terry Michaels and Dorothy Anders and 2 brothers; Gene and Adam Michaels.                

Services for Lee will be held Sunday January 6, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. in the main chapel of Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lake Geneva; Father Sergio Lizama of Saint Francis deSales Catholic Church will officiate.  Visitation will be Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Lee’s name to: American Parkinson’s Disease Association Wisconsin Chapter, 5900 Monona Dr. Ste. 407, Monona, WI  53716.   To sign the on-line guest registry click Guest Book.
