Kathryn Marie Hachmeister

Kathryn M. “Kathy” Hachmeister, 62, of Lake Geneva, WI, died Saturday December 21, 2019 at Mercy Walworth Hospital.  Kathryn Marie Hachmeister was born in Burlington, WI on December 16, 1957 the daughter of the late George and Myra (Zeiser) Hachmeister.  She put herself through nursing school while raising her children.  She was dedicated to nursing and committed to those she took care of. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and her pets, especially her dog Harley.  She loved sailing and spent many happy hours on the water.  She was known for her love of cooking and photography.

Kathy is survived by: 2 children; Lawrence (Laura) Hachmeister and Louis (Katherine) Hachmeister both of Genoa City, WI, 5 grandchildren; Eve, Johnny, Harrison, Ian and Bennett, 3 sisters; Mary Allegretti of Jacksonville, FL, Betty (Bill) Hardiman of Raleigh, NC and Myra (Darrell) Hachmeister-Burns of Waldoboro, ME and a brother George Hachmeister of Waldoboro, ME.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services for Kathy will be held on Saturday December 28, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the main chapel of the Derrick Funeral Home.  The family will receive visitors Saturday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until time of services.
