John Thomas Tisdall

John Thomas Tisdall, 69, of Lake Geneva Wisconsin, passed away at his home unexpectedly on March 18th, 2023.  John was born on September 10, 1953, in Syracuse, New York, a true Irishman.  John was united into marriage to Corby Comati in Orlando, Florida in 1983.  John spent the majority of his career in Real Estate, owning multiple companies in Lake Geneva.  

If you knew John, you knew he loved to be on the water, a self proclaimed Water Dog.  Windsurfing, sailing, waterskiing, fishing…he lived for the wind in his hair, the sun on his skin and the water on his feet.  He played guitar and wrote many of his own songs, which live on in his children’s hearts.  He could build an engine, ride a hardtail and coach a hockey team but then turn around and put on a suit to sell a million dollar home.  You have never met a more proud father and grandfather, his children were all he talked about.  He was unapologetically authentic, he lived life on his own terms yet supported his family in every way possible.  He traveled the world,  sailed many seas and howled in the wind until his last days.

John is survived by his wife of 40 years, Corby.  Three Children:  Shauna Tisdall, Sean-Michael Tisdall, and Samantha Tisdall.  Four Grandchildren:  Declan Grant, Henrik Thomas, Kane-Michael and Shaylee Wynter.  One brother: Daryll Tisdall and one sister: Sharon Robbins.  John was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Don.

There will be a celebration of life planned for John, announced at a future date.
