Jennifer Burka Obituary

Jennifer L. Burka, 71, of the Delavan area passed away at her home on February 23, 2020.

Born Jennifer Lynn Milbrant to the late Gorden and Kathleen (Parsons) Milbrant in Stoughton Wisconsin on May 31, 1948.  Jennifer was a member of the graduating class of 1966 from Evansville High School.  On August 8th, 1970 Jennifer was united into marriage to Peter Burka.

A beautiful soul, inside and out. Jennifer was, and forever will be, an influential figure in the lives of everybody she encountered. The love she had for her husband, family and friends was never-ending. Even people whom she just met she treated with so much warmth and love. This was seen from her continual drive to support and care for those around her. From not sitting down at family dinners until all of her loved ones were happy and situated, to always making sure that a big bowl of Cheetos was available for her niece and nephew whenever they visited. Jennifer always strived to put others before herself. She also loved to make long-lasting memories that those graced to know her will never forget. Along with her beautiful smile and oh so infectious laugh.  Bloody Mary’s and Bellini’s by the lake... Santa Monica with her girls... and of course, the casino! Her compassionate and fun-loving personality will forever be cherished. Her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, friends, and beyond will endlessly embrace and be impacted by her unconditional love.

Jennifer’s husband of 49 years, Peter, survives her.  3 children: Christian (Sandy) Burka, Lindsay (Enrico) Burka-Pirondi, and Emily Stegman all survive her.  8 grandchildren: Theodore Blue Pirondi, Lucille Kathleen and Ozzy Arthur Stegman, Amira Hanna, Lailla Mina, Yasmine Jennifer Burka and Ilias Benabdallah, Robert Dmytro, and Dominic Peter Burka all survive Jennifer.  1 sister; Linda Erickson: 2 brothers Paul W. Milbrant and Neil (Lisa) Milbrant survive Jennifer.  Nieces and Nephews: Kacie Lynn & Chad Richard Erickson and Alyssa Kathleen & Evan Gordon Milbrant along with Grand nieces and Nephews Rowe River and Milo Makana all survive Jennifer.
