Eric Robert Erickson

Eric was born January 10, 1985 in McHenry, IL.  He grew up in Genoa City, WI and graduated from Badger High School in Lake Geneva, WI.  While in high school, he went to the State competition for shotput in Madison, WI.

Eric worked at a variety of jobs over the years.  He enjoyed cooking at various restaurants in northern Illinois and southeastern Wisconsin, and later excelled in sales in Whitewater, WI, often taking monthly top honors in his department.  In his free time, he loved fishing and the outdoors.

Eric passed away unexpectedly at home Sunday July 4, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Edward & Marilyn Conway and Roy & Anna Jean Erickson, and his sister Heather.  He is survived by his mother Marjorie (the late Warren) Woods, his father Robert (Gwen) Erickson, his stepsisters Jennifer Sherfield and Jaclyn (Justin) Cheever, and stepbrother Thomas Uzitas.  

Visitation will be held on Saturday July 24, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Derrick Funeral Home with a memorial service immediately following at the Funeral Home.
