Elizabeth "Liz" M. (Giese) Fafard

Elizabeth “Liz” M. Fafard (nee Giese) Passed peacefully Tuesday December 8, 2020 at the age of 72.

Beloved wife of Leslie Fafard. Loving mother of Anne Reshadi and Stephanie Fafard. Cherished grandmother of Lila Reshadi. Sister-in-law of Charles (Sue) Fafard. Dear niece of Lillie Reilly. Half-sister of the late Patricia (Llewelyn) Bredeson and Margaret (Everett) Polglase. Precious daughter of the late Hilbert and Anne (Rille) Giese. Adored stepdaughter of the late Emil Savrnoch.

Liz had a passion for life, and she put her heart and soul into everything she did. She loved the holidays and entertaining. Liz always made her friends and family feel special with her delicious food and warm welcome. She loved to interior decorate, garden and travel especially her many trips to Hawaii and Europe. She was a devoted protector of animals including her treasured dogs Teddy and Cutie Pie and her cat Rudy. Her greatest joy was spending time with her daughters and granddaughter whether day trips to local shoppes in the area, around the state or trips to other parts of the country. Liz (Lovebug) was an amazing wife for her unending love and support she provided to her husband Les over their fifty-three years of marriage. She will be incredibly missed by her family and friends. She will be longingly remembered for her love, warmth, grace, zeal and caring by all that were fortunate to have known her. 

Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private family service will be held at Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva.
