Craig I. Kastilahn, 73, of Lake Geneva, formerly of Chicago, Des Plaines, and Libertyville, IL, passed away Thursday, August 17th at Holton Manor Care in Elkhorn, WI.
Craig was born July 27, 1950, in Chicago, IL, the son of Irwin and Doris Kastilahn. He married Linda Cooper of Genoa City, WI on November 2, 1974 in Slades Corners, WI. Craig was a graduate of Taft High School and Carthage College, and was a salesman for various companies, including 25 years as a Snap-On Tools Franchisee.
Craig was a certified movie enthusiast. Watching everything from Western to Action to Comedies, there was not one out there that Craig would not watch. Craig was also a fantastic card player from playing euchre to poker, if it involved cards Craig was there.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, and 3 children, Kyle Kastilahn of Schaumburg, IL, Ryan Kastilahn (Jennifer) of Kenosha, WI, and Stacey (Andrew) Hummel of Whitewater, WI, grandchildren Everett Hummel and new granddaughter Madelynn Hummel, and brother Glenn(Tina) Kastilahn and their children and grandchildren.
Also surviving are 2 brothers-in-law, Jerry (Pat) Cooper, Terry (MaryAnn) Cooper, sister-in-law Pam (Tom) Perry, and step-mother-in-law Faye Cooper and her family. He was preceded in death by his parents Doris and Irwin, and by his in-laws, Beverly Koehn Cooper and Albert Cooper.
Services for Craig will be held on Sunday August 27th, 2023 at 2:00pm in the main chapel of Derrick Funeral Home, Pastor Paul Vandenberg will be presiding. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30pm till 2:00pm.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked that you make a donation in Craig's name to Holton Manor.
