Carl Olofson Obituary

Carl I. Olofson, 84, of Lake Geneva, WI, passed away Sunday February 13, 2022 at Geneva Lake Manor Nursing Home. Carl Iver Olofson was born in Chicago, IL on September 2, 1937 the son of Carl and Esther (Person) Olofson. On August 25, 1962 in McGregor Iowa, he was united in marriage to the former Evelyn Wild. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.

Carl enjoyed traveling and spending time visiting with his friends. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and season ticket holder for the Chicago Bears.

Carl is survived by: Eileen, his wife of 59 years, a daughter Cristina Olofson, 2 sisters Ruth Meredith and Bonnie Larkin. He was preceded in death by his parents a son Kurt a brother Bert and 2 sisters May and Martha.

Per Carl’s request there will be no services. Derrick Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the Olofson family with arrangements.
