Beatrice "Beaa" (Halama) Sheehan

Beatrice “Beaa” Sheehan, 68, of Lake Geneva, WI, died Monday February 24, 2020 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.  The former Beatrice Halama was born in Independence, WI the daughter of the late Ralph and Marcella (Sobotta) Halama.  On February 24, 1996 she was united in marriage with Frank Sheehan who preceded her in death.

Beaa had been in real estate sales for for nearly 30 years working with Keefe Real Estate in Lake Geneva. Her greatest memories at Keefe were of the many friends she had there.  She loved spending time working on her house and yard, especially the stunning flower gardens.  She enjoyed baking and cooking with her friend Susan.

Beaa is survived by: 2 brothers Bill and Ralph Halama both of Independence, WI, 4 step-children; Thomas(Susan) Sheehan of Madison, WI, Maureen “Mo” (Michael) Sheehan of Grays Lake, IL, Peggy Hays of Waldo, WI and Dennis (Jo) Sheehan of Stoughton, WI, step-grandchildren; Dane and Austin Sheehan Michael Shattuck and Kelly Meinholz and Tom and Sarah Hays, as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family.  She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Robert and Benjamin and a sister Bonnie.    

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday February 27 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Fontana, WI; Father Sergio Lizama will officiate. A sharing of memories will be held at Gordy's Boat House immediately following the service. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Geneva.  Visitation will be Thursday in church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested to: American Diabetes Association or make a financial donation to Support Transplant and Organ and Tissue Donation Services where Beaa had received multiple transplants.Please use the links below to assist in making donations.
