Arthur R. Romani, 95, of Delavan, WI, died Friday October 29, 2021 at his home. Arthur Richard Romani was born in Chicago, IL on September 20, 1926 the son of Richard and Rose Maria (Genovesi) Romani. He was a Veteran of World War II serving with the United States Navy. On April 17, 1971 in Elk Grove Village, IL he was united in marriage to the former Merilyn Cramer Cargo. Arthur worked for many years as Advertising Sales Manager for the HI-Liter Graphics in Burlington, Wisconsin.
He was a British Car Enthusiast, he also was a private pilot. He was a people person who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He always said that he didn’t have a bucket list because he did what he wanted to do.
Arthur is survived by: Merilyn his wife of 50 years, 3 children; Jeffrey Romani of Genoa City, WI, Jay (Michal Ann Klein) Romani of Lake Geneva, WI, Jamie (Kim) Krueger of Elkhorn, WI, 6 grandchildren; Ashley, Alexandra, Lauren, Jessica, Kristina and James, 5 great-grandchildren; Austyn, Tripp, Krew, Jayce and Oxana. He was preceded in death by son Keith, grandson Codie Krueger and a brother Sam.
A Gathering of Friends will be held Thursday November 4, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the main chapel of the Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva. Private graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
