Alfred "Fred" Scott Little

Alfred S. Little, 89, of the Lake Geneva area passed away on October 26th, 2023 at Mercy Walworth Hospital.

Alfred, or Fred as he was better known as, was born on September 19th, 1934 to the late Ralph and Irma Little in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Fred graduated from Davenport High School in 1952, then went on to Beloit College, then finally obtained his master's degree from the University of Texas in 1976. Fred spent was a safety specialist for the Xerox company for many years.  on June 23rd, 1962, in Davenport, Iowa, Fred was united into marriage to the former Mary Sitz.

Fred loved everything about the Lake Geneva area.  Fred and Mary are member of the Church of the Holy Communion in Lake Geneva were Fred was an active member of the choir.  When Fred and Mary were not enjoying the Lake Geneva area they were world travelers, from doing month long trips through Europe to river cruises through Russia and China, then spending there winters in Texas where they were close to family.

Fred is survived by his wife of 61 years Mary and their one daughter: Catherine (Guy) Boehnke.  Two grandchildren: Adrian and Adam, and one sister: Sherry (Jerry) Swinton, all survive Fred.  Fred was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings: Paul and Sandra.

The service for Fred will be held at Church of the Holy Communion, Episcopal (320 Broad Street, Lake Geneva, WI 53147), Rev. Jim Kaestner officiating and Rev. Liz Meade assisting, on Saturday, November 18, at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Fred Little may be made to:  Church of the Holy Communion 320 Broad Street, Lake Geneva, WI, 53147.
