William J. Ford

William J. Ford, 86, of Williams Bay, WI, died Friday July 11, 2014 at his home.  William Jack Ford was born February 15, 1928 in Crescent, Oklahoma the son of the late Robert and Mabel (McNeer) Ford.  He was a Veteran of the United States Army.  On October 23, 2000 in Santa Fe, NM he was united in marriage to the former Joanne Thomas.  He had worked for many years as a geologist for the State of New Mexico.  He and Joanne moved to Williams Bay in 2005. He enjoyed fishing, especially fly fishing.  He also enjoyed golfing, boating and hiking.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne, 3 sons; Robert (Allison) Ford of Baltimore, MD, Bill Ford and Brian Ford both of Denver, CO, 2 step-daughters; Kristin (Chuck) Dunlap of Atlanta, GA and Shelly Bach of St. Louis MO and 3 grandsons; Jackson, Kale and Cooper.
