William H. Dantuma

William H. Dantuma, 75, of Linn Township, WI, died Thursday December 2, 2021 at Saint Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI.  William Hendrik Dantuma was born in Irnsum, Netherlands the son of the late Sam and Rose (DeJong) Dantuma.  On November 1, 1969 he was united in marriage to Susan Kinzer in Beloit, WI. She preceded him in death in 2005.

William worked many years as an engineer/draftsman and was very talented. He was a man who loved woodworking, motorcycling, collecting and restoring antiques and spending time outdoors.  He was a kind man with a good heart and spirit.

William is survived by his 2 sons; Philip (Julie) Dantuma of Lake Geneva, WI and Mark (Susan) Dantuma of Janesville, WI, 3 grandchildren; Jillian, Abel and Violet and by a sister-in-law Linda Dantuma. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers Klaas and Michael.

Services for William will be held on Saturday December 11, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the main chapel of the Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva, WI.  Interment will follow in Linn Hebron Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday, at the funeral home, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
