Willard "Bill" Vandusen Jr.

Willard “Bill” VanDusen Jr., 79, of the East Troy area passed away on August 26, 2024, at at his home.

Bill was born on June 27, 1945, to the late Willard and Elizabeth (Roke) VanDusen Sr. in Chicago, Illinois.  On December 1, 1965, Bill was inducted into the United States Army where he would serve until November of 1971.  On November 11th, 1973, Bill was united into marriage to the late Dianne Wlodarski.

Bill was a simple man through life.  Bill was proud to be able to give his family life that they had living on Potters Lake.  When Bill was not working, he was spending time with his family enjoying the lake.

Bill is survived by his four children: Paticia Oliver, Kristen VanDusen, Ken (Carrie) VanDusen Land Scott (Melissa) VanDusen.  Four grandchildren: Sean, Kristen, Eva, and Noah and soon to be one great-grandchild,  along with one brother, William VanDusen, and one sister Cora Bahm also will survive Bill.  Bill was proceeded in death by his wife, Dianne, on December 11th, 1991, one sister Anne, and his parents.

Services for Bill will be held on Sunday September 8th, 2024, at 3:00pm in the main chapel of Derick Funeral Home, with Military Honors at 3:30.  Visitation will be held from 1:00pm till the time of service on September 8th.

Bill will be laid to rest at Bethania Cemetery in Justice, Illinois.
