A letter from the children of Pete Peterson

Dear Friends,

As many of you know, our dad, Pete Peterson (Wesley Wendell Peterson Jr.) of Lake Geneva, passed away on Friday, September 18th.

He is survived by his two children, Cy (Hayley) Peterson and Chelsey (Chris) Hamilton and his five grandchildren Wesley and Isla Peterson and Geneva Anagnos and Finn and Ty Hamilton.

This summer, Dad fought a long, courageous battle with sepsis and kidney disease, receiving care across VA hospitals in Madison, Milwaukee, and Union Grove. Despite his unbelievable resilience and the dedication of his medical teams, his body simply endured too much. We are deeply grateful we were able to be by his side during his final moments.

Thank you to everyone in our community who reached out, prayed, or cared for Dad. Your love and memories mean more to us than we can say.

We miss him beyond words. 

A  celebration of life will be held to honor Pete.
