Wayne A. Tibbitts

Wayne A. Tibbitts, 71, of Lake Geneva, WI and Hudson, FL, died Friday December 25, 2015 at his home in Florida.  Wayne Albert Tibbitts was born in Chicago, IL on January 23, 1944 the son of the late Albert and Lucille (Fortney) Tibbitts. He graduated from Badger High School in Lake Geneva with the class of 1962.  He was united in marriage to the former Pearl Copeland in 1991 in Lake Geneva.  He was a member of Saint Francis deSales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva.  Wayne is survived by: Pearl, his wife of 24 years, 5 children; Kim Tibbitts of Lake Geneva, Kelly Novotny of Lake Geneva, Teri (James) Wallace of Genoa City, WI, Toni (Kurt) Burkoth of Genoa City, WI, and Beth (Robert) Morelli of Genoa City, WI, 6 step-children; Daniel (Sue) Fairchild of Mukwonago, WI, Brian (Jill) Fairchild of Lake Geneva, WI, Catherine Griffith of Lake Geneva, WI, Wayne Fairchild of Elkhorn, WI, Jeffery (Miranda) Fairchild of Elkhorn, WI and Kimberly (Duane) Brinson of Greenville, SC, 23 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a sister Barbara Tibbitts of Hudson, FL.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Jerry Tibbitts and a sister Vivian Steffgen.  Mass of Christian Burial will be said Saturday January 2, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Francis deSales Catholic Church; Father Jim Scheurman will officiate.  Entombment will follow in Saint Francis deSales Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday, in church, from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.  In lieu of other expression of sympathy memorial are requested in Wayne’s name to Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  To Sign the on-line guest registry click view/sign condolence book at the bottom of this page.
