Vivian H. (Bette) Flotz

Vivian H. Flotz, 86, a longtime resident of Pell Lake, WI, formerly of Chicago, IL, died Sunday December 23, 2012 at her home. The former Vivian Helen Bette was born on November 19, 1926 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Maximillian and Florence (Ballacker) Bette. On August 15, 1953 she was united in marriage to LeRoy Dzierzanowski; he preceded her in death on October 25, 1986. On July 13, 2002, she married Larry Flotz. When living in Chicago she was active in Saint Genevieve Catholic Church. She was an avid dancer and she and Larry enjoyed many happy hours dancing together. She loved her friends and enjoyed spending time with them; however her greatest love was spending time with her family.
Vivian is survived by: her husband Larry, 5 children; Linda (Robert) Plummer of Rockford, IL, LeRoy (Karen) Dzierzanowski of Genoa City, WI, Barbara (Thomas) Soble of Pell Lake, WI, Jeffery (Terry) Dzierzanowski of Streamwood, IL, and Patricia (Kirk) Pane of Pell Lake, WI, 3 step-children; Erika (Tom) Elwood, of North Hyde Park, VT, Connie Owen of Beaufort, SC and Steven Flotz of Sturtevant, WI, 21 grandchildren,18 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters; her twin sister Virginia Czech of Pell Lake, WI and Florence Bette of Island Lake, IL. She was preceded in death by: a grandson Kenneth Dzierzanowski and 3 sisters; Maxine Nelson, Clara Kruszewski and Marilyn Wakrow.
Services will be held on Friday December 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Derrick Funeral Home, 800 Park Dr., Lake Geneva, WI; pastor Brian Metke of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
