Virginia Dalton Kunkel Born February 28,1930 Died August 18, 2025  at 95 years old in Williams Bay, WI.

Virgnia was a beloved mother to 9 children. She was affectionately called Grammy/Gram by her 11 grandchildren and a GiGi to her 14 great grandchildren. She loved volunteering for her church at Old St.Patrick’s in Chicago,IL. She had great faith and loved to read her Bible. Over the years she had many interests and a variety of jobs that involved her love of caretaking whether it was animals, children, or flowers. She loved music, dancing, farmer’s markets, gardening, and the arts. Often taking her grandchildren on picnics to Ravinia or adventures to Chicago. She never missed an opportunity to celebrate a holiday or special occasion. She loved preparing for parties and gave great attention to detail. Her favorite holidays were St. Patrick’s Day, the Fourth of July, and Christmas. She enjoyed bringing her family and friends together for a meal, fireworks, parade, or any occasion for a festive activity. She will be fondly remembered for her young at heart spirit, generosity, and her go, go, go attitude.
