Virginia Marie (Gierum) Hendrickson

Virginia M. Hendrickson, 95, of Fontana, WI, formerly of Chicago, IL, died Wednesday March 18, 2015 at Golden Years Nursing Home in Walworth, WI.
The former Virginia Marie Gierum was born in Chicago, IL on July 31, 1919 the daughter of the late John and Geraldine (McNerny) Gierum. She was a graduate of Von Steuban High School in Chicago, IL. On August 5, 1939 in Chicago, IL she was united in marriage to Albert R. Mazur; he preceded her in death in August of 1963. On December 4, 1965 she married Arthur J. Hendrickson; he preceded her in death on November 10, 2014.
Virginia is survived by a daughter Virginia “Ginny” Polkow of Fontana, WI, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 daughters Marie Ullrich and Marlene Johnson and a brother John Gierum.
