Virginia L. (Bette) Benjamin Czech

Virginia L. Benjamin Czech, 89, of Pell Lake, WI, died Thursday November 10, 2016 at Geneva Lake Manor Nursing Home in Lake Geneva, WI. The former Virginia Louise Bette was born on November 19, 1926 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (Ballacker) Bette.  On April 12, 1947 she was united in marriage to Robert C. Benjamin; he preceded her in death on May 5, 1974.  On April 26, 1975 she married Joseph F. Czech; he preceded her in death December 26, 2008.  Virginia enjoyed playing cards and going to garage sales.  She was an avid collector, collecting dollhouse miniature and other collectibles.

Virginia is survived by: 2 children; Robert T. (Carol) Benjamin of Downers Grove, IL and Janice (Thomas) Kalisz of Pell Lake, WI, 3 step-children; /Denise (Kevin) Donohue of Schaumburg, IL, Mark (April) Czech of Pell Lake, WI and Audrey (John) Schuten of Elk Grove Village, IL, 5 grandchildren; Robert W. (Beth) Benjamin, Ryan Benjamin, Bradley C. (Ann) Benjamin, Christopher (Kelly) Kalisz and Brittany (Omar) Kalisz, 4 great-grandchildren, a sister Florence A. Bette of Island Lake, IL and many beloved nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by 4 sisters; Claire, Vivian, Maxine and Marilyn.

Visitation for Virginia will be Sunday November 13, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva.  Graveside services will be held on Monday November 14 at 10:45 a.m. at Irving Park Cemetery in Chicago, IL.  To sign the on-line guest registry click guest book/condolences.
