Vincent T. Domino, 64, of Genoa City, WI, died Tuesday October 21, 2014 at his home. Vincent Thomas Domino was born in Chicago, IL on September 13, 195 0 the son of the late Salvatore and Mary (Saint John) Domino. On August 18, 1973 at Como Community Church, he was united in marriage to the former Melanie Rose Hackett. He was a Veteran of the Viet Nam era serving with the U.S. Army in Germany. He owned and operated Domino Air Freight in Lake Geneva for many years. Vince was an accomplished musician and guitarist; he was one of the guitarists at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pell Lake. He along with Alice Hackett raised money to raise the Lucius Newberry which burned and sank in Geneva Lake on December 6, 1891.
Vince is survived by: Melanie, his wife of 41 years, 2 sons; Vinnie (Kristin) Domino of Lake Geneva, WI and Michael (Cristina) Domino of Genoa City, WI, 4 grandchildren; Bhentleigh, Mhaddyx, Kamryn and Vinnie Jr. and 2 brothers; Thomas (Laura) Domino of Genesee, IL and Joseph Domino of Genoa City, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Susan.
A Celebration of Vince’s life will be held on Friday October 24, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pell Lake; Pastor Brian Metke will officiate. The Domino family will receive visitors Friday in church from 9:00 a.m. until time of services. Derrick Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lake Geneva is assisting the Domino family with arrangements.
