Victoria R. (Scistowicz) Jackson

Victoria R. Jackson, 97, of Lake Geneva, WI died Friday November 23, 2012 at Geneva Lake Manor Nursing Home. The former Victoria Rosemarie Jackson was born in Chicago, IL on January 3, 1915 the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Chmielak) Scistowicz. On March 19, 1941, in Chicago, IL, she was united in marriage to Kenneth W. Jackson; he preceded her in death on May 29, 1973.
Victoria was a former member of the Linn Neighborly Club. She spent many happy hours working in her yard or on her house. She enjoyed eating out with her friends. She loved jewelry, dogs and especially her family. Her happiest times were spent with her family enjoying picnics together in her back yard.
Victoria is survived by: 3 children; Myrna MacNair of Boulder CO, Joyce Barta of Warrenville, IL and Kenneth D. (Georgia) Jackson of Boulder, CO, 3 grandchildren; Darren MacNair, Amy MacNair and Scott Jackson. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers Frank, John and Andrew Scistowicz and 3 sisters; Stella Corda, Mary Scistowicz and Louise Kulman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Tuesday November 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Francis deSales Catholic; Father Jim Schuerman will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL. Visitation will be Tuesday in church from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
