Thomas O. Honer, 79, of Lake Geneva, WI, formerly of Richland Center, WI, died Friday June 26, 2015 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn. Thomas Otto Honer was born in Richland Center, WI on September 17, 1935 the son of the late Otto J. and Catherine (Killoy) Honer. Tom attended St. John’s School for the Deaf in Milwaukee and graduated from the Wisconsin School for the Deaf in Delavan, WI. Tom married Ellen Housman of Genoa City, WI on September 26, 1959 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Richland Center. Tom worked for over 39 years as a printer for Chaney Instruments in Lake Geneva, WI.
Tom is survived by: Ellen; his wife of 56 years, a brother Jim (Virginia) Honer of Madison, WI, a sister-in-law Doris M. Honer of Richland Center, WI a brother-in-law Ken (Sharon) Housman of West Allis, WI, three nephews, four nieces and many cousins and friends. Tom will be missed by his many friends, especially, those in the deaf community. He was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Michael “Mike” Honer.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday July11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Richland Center. Memorials may be made in Tom’s name to St. Mary’s Catholic Church 160 W. 4th Street, Richland Center WI 53581.
