Theodore F. Rykiel, 80, of the Bloomfield, Wisconsin area passed away at his home on November 18, 2024.
Theodore was born on May 19th, 1944, to the late Theodore and Felicia (Mystkowski) Rykiel in Chicago, Illinois. Theodore was a member of the graduating class of 1962 from Fenger High School in Chicago. On June 12th, 1965, Theodore was united into marriage to Paulette Bregin.
Theodore was a hard-working man spending most of his life as a machinist. Outside of work Theodore's interest took a different turn. He was a history buff, a fantastic artist, a baseball manager to the little league baseball team in Calumet, City. Theodore was a Scout Committee Chairman, owned his own roofing company, and love model trains in the H.O. Scale.
Theodore is survived by his four children: Paul (Jasen Faust) Rykiel, Jeff (Elma) Rykiel, Theodore (Lisa) Rykiel, and Jeannine Rykiel. Theodore is also survived by four grandchildren, two great grandchildren with a third one on its way, his sister Paulina Lucarz, and his nephew Anthony Lucarz. Theodore was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Paulette and his parents Theodore and Felicia.
Services for Theodore will be held on Sunday November 24th, 2024 at 3:00pm in the main chapel of Derrick Funeral Home. A visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 1:00pm and ending at 3:00pm. Burial will happen at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, Illinois.
