Taahira Z. (Mumford) Ilkov, 40, passed away in San Marcos, California on June 7th, 2014. Taahira Mumford was born on October 25th, 1973 in Chicago, Illinois. Taahira is a member of the graduating class of 1991 from Badger High School in Lake Geneva, WI. After Taahira graduated from Badger she went on to UW-Oshkosh where she graduated with a bachelors degree in Graphic Design in 1995. Taahira worked at various companies before landing a job with Taylor Made in California. While in California Taahira was very involved in the Solutions for Change organization in San Diego, California.
Taahira is survived by: Jamahl (Shenita) Mumford of Oahu, Hawaii; Khamel (Nichole) Mumford of Chicago, Illinois. Also surviving Taahira is; William & Martha Harris of Lake Geneva, WI, LaSasha (Pedro) Harvey of Lake Geneva, WI, Naquisha (Alonzo) Mann of Milwaukee, WI, and William Harris Jr. of Lake Geneva, WI. David Hunt and Sojourner Hunt of Silver Springs, Maryland also survives Taahira.
A graveside service will be held for Taahira on Saturday June 28th, 2014 at 12:00p.m. at the St Francis De Sales Cemetery; Pastor Jeff Quintos of the Chapel on the Hill will be presiding. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked that donations be made in Taahira’s name to the Solutions for Change organization, a link has been provided for your convenience.
