Sharon Lynn Walloch

On October 10, 2025, Sharon L. Walloch, 85, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord, in Lake Geneva, WI. Born in Milwaukee on November 24, 1939 to the late Bernard and Irene Naraus, her earthly journey took her full circle, from Wisconsin to Florida to Texas to Illinois, and back again. A 1957 Honors graduate of Pulaski High School, on July 4, 1959, she married the love of her life, Thomas J. Walloch, who preceded her in death in 2001. An accomplished hairdresser for many years, she found her calling as a hospital emergency department secretary in Florida, from which she retired in 2003. Besides her family, her passions included singing in the church choir, volunteering, antiquing, reading, solving crosswords, and lively water aerobics with her friends.

Beloved by her children as the “grapevine” of the family, she will be greatly missed by sons David and Darren (Pam) Walloch, and daughter Debra (John) Hoffman, as well as grandchildren Brian, Aaron, Hannah, Ashleigh, Ian, Adam and Zachary, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Although faced with declining health and mobility, Mom adopted a positive attitude and maintained a good sense of humor, while being known to entertain her many caregivers with her love of corny “dad jokes”, right up until her very last days. They often described her as “adorable”, “amazing” and “a delight”, while looking forward to visits with her. Our family would especially like to thank the extremely caring staffs of both Williams Bay Health Services, and North Shore at Home Hospice Services, for their loving kindness and support, and helping to make her final months so much more pleasant.

No services are planned at this time, as she will be cremated and joined with her beloved “Tommy”.
