Sandra Marie (Schroeder) Steinhoff

Sandra Marie Steinhoff, 52, of Pell Lake Wisconsin went to take her place with the angels on July 7th 2015 after her battle with cancer.
Sandy was born on November 27, 1962 in Chicago, IL to the late Raymond and Myrna (McGovern) Schroeder. Sandy graduated in 1980 from Richards High School in Chicago, IL. After graduation Sandy moved to Pell Lake WI. On May 7th, 1983. Sandy was married to William (Bill) Steinhoff in Chicago Ridge, IL.
Sandy was truly a great person. She dedicated her life to helping others. For 28 years she worked for St Mary's Catholic Church. Sandy helped the elderly with their daily tasks, brought them food, and made sure they were comfortable. She was also in charge of running their food pantry. For the last 7 years she was the director of the St. Mary's Memorial Food Pantry. When our church closed, Sandy took it upon herself to carry on the need of the food pantry. Sandy was also in charge of the coat donations for our local school. She never thought of herself, only how she could help others.
Sandy is survived by her husband Bill, of 32 years who was by her side till the end. 1 daughter Samantha (Collin) Neitzel and 2 wonderful grandchildren Madison Rose & Hunter David Neitzel all survive Sandy. Many knew her as Nana.
Her father Raymond, mother Myrna, and her older brother Terry all preceded Sandy in death.
Visitation for Sandy will be held on Sunday July 12th, 2015 from 1:00pm till 3:00pm in the chapel of Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked that you make a donation in Sandy’s name to the St. Mary’s Memorial Food Pantry. A link has been provided for your connivence.
