Ruth Irene (McGrigry) Peters, 77, of Lake Geneva, WI, died Thursday March 19th 2015 at Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI.
Born Ruth Irene McGrigry to the late Arnold and Mildred (English) McGrigry in Waukegan, Illinois. Ruth was a member of the graduating class of 1956 from the Lake Geneva High School. On February 23rd, 1971 she was united into marriage to the late Robert “Bob” J. Peters in Elkhorn, WI.
Ruth is survived by 4 children: Michael (Shelly) Peters of Elkhorn, WI, Kathleen (Pat) Carroll of Lake Geneva, WI, Leslie (Ted) Adent of Sarasota, FL, and John (Jill) Peters of Lake Geneva, Wi. 10 Grandchildren, 7 great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews survive Ruth. 1 sister: Sharon (David) Travis of Sharon, WI, survives Ruth. Her husband of 29 years Robert, 2 children: Graig Dickman and Cynthia Ann Goodwin: and 1 brother: Robert Williams preceded Ruth in death.
Services for Ruth will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday the 24th, 2015 in the chapel of Derrick Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Lake Geneva, WI: Pastor Mark Moller-Gunderson will be presiding. Visitation will be from 10:00am till the time of service.
