Russell E. Talarek Jr.

Russell E. Talarek Jr., 60, of Darien, WI, passed away Sunday December 28, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville, WI.  Russell Edward Talarek Jr. was born in Chicago, IL on May 20, 1960 the son of the late Russell and Catherine (Domrose) Talarek Sr. He had been an over the road trucker for many years.  On January 15, 1997, in Elkhorn, WI, he was united in marriage to the former Lynn Martin.  He enjoyed working on his cars and spending many happy hours riding  his Harley.

Russell is survived by: Lynn, his wife of almost 24 years, 3 children; Lyndsey (Brian) Slaski of Green Bay, WI, Amanda Driscoll of Janesville, WI and Zacharia Talarek of Genoa City, WI, 6 grandchildren, a brother William Talarek of Elkhorn, WI and 2 sisters; Judy Lew of Lake Geneva, WI and Cathie Talarek-Gudino of Sharon, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a Celebration of Russell’s Life Saturday January 9, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Main chapel of the Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva, with services at 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested to his wife Lynn to assist with final expenses.

Due to covid-19 masks must be worn and social distancing must be maintained.
