Ronald August Russo

Ronald A. Russo, 82, of the Richmond, Illinois area passed away unexpectedly on November 20th, 2024, at St. Lukes Medical Center.

Ron was born on December 22, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois.  On September 7th, 1974, in Chicago, Illinois Ron was united into marriage to Frances R. Murray.

Ron was a car guy through and through.  Ron could work on anything, but the common goal was to take the smallest car and put the biggest engine in it that he could fit.  Ron was a fantastic grandfather, an unbelievable father, and an amazing husband.

Ron is survived by his wife of 50 years, Frances.  Three children: Robert (Karen) Russo, Ronald (Karri) Russo, and Juliana Russo; two grandchildren Isabella and Gino and four siblings (Ralph (Lefty) Russo, Robert Russo, Anne (Tom) Kelly, and Bryan (Eileen) Russo all survive Ron.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday December 7th, 2024, from 12:00pm till 3:00pm in the main chapel of Derrick Funeral Home.
