Roger A. Hill

April 13, 1954 — February 1, 2014

Roger A. Hill, a lifelong resident of the Lake Geneva area, died Saturday February 1, 2014 at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington in Burlington, WI. Roger Alan Hill was born in Elkhorn, WI the son of Elmo and Lillian (Hoffman) Hill.  He graduated from Badger High School with the Class of 1972.  On March 16, 2001 in Ianen, China he was united in marriage to the former Xin Lin.  At the time of his death he was employed as an IT technician for Shorewest Realty in Lake Geneva.  Roger was a member of the Burlington United Methodist Church in Burlington, WI.  He loved football, especially the Green Bay Packers.  He enjoyed spending time with his dog Millie.  He loved people and enjoyed helping anyone that needed help. Because of his tissue and cornea donation he will help over 60 people.
Roger is survived by: his wife Xin, 2 children; Todd (Rae) Hill and Natalie (Chris Zdenek) Hill both of Chicago, IL, his mother Lillian Hill of Lake
Geneva, WI, and 2 brothers; Larry Hill of Orlando, FL and Jack Hill of California, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Elmo and a brother Doug.
A Celebration of Roger’s life will be held on Friday February 7, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Burlington United Methodist Church 857 State St. in Burlington, WI; Pastor Ebenezer Insor will officiate.  The Hill family will receive visitors Friday, in church, from 5:00 p.m. until time of services.  Derrick Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lake Geneva, WI is assisting the Hill family with arrangements.  To sign the on-line guest registry click view/sign condolence book at the bottom of this page.
