Roger P. Enloe

June 23, 1942 — January 15, 2025

Lake Geneva, Wisconsin

On June 23, 1942, the world was enriched by the birth of Roger Phillip Enloe.  He was born in Elkhorn, WI, and attended school with his sibling, Karen.  He attended the University of Wisconsin after graduation from high school and obtained a bachelor's degree in Business. He was drafted into the Army in 1968, and bravely served our country in Vietnam.  He returned and immediately moved to Beaverton, Oregon, and began working for GM and the Chevrolet car company as a sales representative with their show truck throughout the Western US; he eventually became the division manager in Kansas.  While working in Oregon, he met and married Anne Webb and helped her raise her two children, Cindy and Scott.  In 1988, Anne passed away from cancer in Hutchinson, Kansas, and Roger continued to work for the Collins Bus Company for a few more years.

His next adventure took him to Bend, OR, where he retired into a life of hiking, taking pictures of nature, and enjoying his 1980 911SC Porsche.  He developed several close friendships in Bend, and spent many happy hours sharing stories over cups of coffee.  He also began communicating regularly with his high school friend, Elaine.  Eventually he revealed their relationship to his family and made plans to go visit her in Wisconsin.  When he returned from visiting her, Elaine was all he could talk about.  He moved to Lake Geneva a few weeks later and has been very happy in a loving relationship with Elaine for the last few years.  Throughout his life he has been portrayed as a gentle man who loved being with friends and sharing his dry wit whenever he found the opportunity.

He is survived by his older sister, Karen (Enloe) Frazier in Beverly Hills, FL; younger brother, David (Ramona) Enloe in Redmond, OR; Nephew, Brett (Jana) Frazier in Salome, AZ; Niece, Jodie (Frazier) Fahlgren; Stepdaughter, Cynthia (Webb) Meier in Inman, KS;  Stepson, Scott Webb and two cousins, Linda Enloe Behrens, Elkhorn, WI and Tom (Vicky) Enloe of Elkhorn, WI.
