Roger enjoyed a fulfilling career spanning 30 plus years with Wisconsin Power and Light, during which he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. A proud graduate of Hebron High School, Class of 1950, he laid a foundation for a life of service and excellence.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Roger served in the United States Army, where he proudly participated in military operations, as a medic, in Korea. He was also a respected member of the American Legion, embodying the values of honor and patriotism.

Roger is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Virginia, with whom he shared a life filled with joy and companionship. Together, they raised four children: Patricia (David) Foglesong, Debra Goad, Evan (Sue) Bottlemy, and Jeffrey Bottlemy. His legacy continues through his five cherished grandchildren, Jacob, Justin, Jason, Alyssa, and Jensine, as well as his six great-grandchildren: Jackson, Dylan, Brady, Levi, Clare, and Henry.
